Short and honest, like everything else here.

1. Our printables

Printables are our main thing. Some are free when you join our email list. Others may be paid. When an activity post points you to one of our printables, that's our own product, and we keep what it earns. We'll always make that obvious.

2. Amazon

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

If you click one of our Amazon links for craft supplies, a toy or a book and then buy, Amazon pays us a small commission. Your price stays the same. Amazon may also count other things you buy during that visit.

We may also use affiliate links from craft stores, book shops, toy retailers and educational supply companies, usually through affiliate networks. Same deal: we may earn a commission, and you pay nothing extra. Posts with affiliate links have a note near the top, and product lists are marked.

4. Display ads

Third-party ad partners show ads on our pages. We don't pick the ads, and an ad isn't us recommending something. Spot an ad that seems inappropriate for a family site? Send the page link and a screenshot to [email protected] and we'll report it.

How we pick what to recommend

  • Age labels first. We only suggest toys and supplies for the ages their manufacturers list.
  • Safety over sales. We skip products with known small-part or recall concerns, and we don't feature water beads at all.
  • Cheap or free when it works. We'd rather point you to a cardboard box than a $30 kit. Most activities use things you already have.
  • Research, not hands-on testing. Picks are based on product listings, age labels, specs and reviews. If we've used something ourselves, the post will say so.
  • Commissions don't decide. A higher commission never moves a product up the list.

We don't publish sponsored posts or accept free products right now. If that changes, sponsored posts will say "Sponsored" at the top, free products will be identified, and brands won't get a say in what we write.

Why we're telling you

U.S. Federal Trade Commission rules say we have to disclose these relationships. We'd tell you even if they didn't.
