These terms apply to everyone who uses puddlesandplay.com. They're written to be readable, so please give them a skim.

1. You agree to these terms

By using Puddles & Play, you agree to these terms and to the laws that apply where you live. If you don't agree, please stop using the site.

2. You must be an adult

Puddles & Play is for adults 18 and older: parents, caregivers, teachers and homeschoolers. Children may enjoy our activities and printables with you, but they may not use the site, sign up for emails or buy anything on their own.

3. What we offer

Puddles & Play publishes activity ideas, crafts, learning games and printables for kids ages 1 to 8, written for adults to set up and supervise. Some printables are free and some may be paid. We can change, pause or remove anything on the site at any time.

4. Supervision and safety are your responsibility

Please read this one carefully.

• Every activity is meant for adult-supervised play. Stay with young children for the whole activity, and within arm's reach for anything involving small items or water.
• Ages are a guide. You know your child's development, habits and needs better than we do. If your child still mouths objects, treat every small item as a choking hazard, whatever the age range says.
• Small parts. Many supplies (beads, pom poms, googly eyes, buttons, dried beans, uninflated balloons, magnets and button batteries) are choking or swallowing hazards. Keep them away from children under 3 and any child who puts things in their mouth.
• Water. Young children can drown quickly and silently in very little water. Never leave a child alone with water, and empty tubs and bins as soon as play ends.
• Allergies and food play. Check every ingredient against your child's, and your class's, allergies. Don't let kids eat raw flour or uncooked dough.
• Art supplies and tools. Use child-safe, age-labeled materials. Hot glue, sharp tools, slime activators and anything heated are for adults to handle.

Our content is general information. It is not medical, developmental or professional childcare advice. Talk to your pediatrician about your child's health or development. Our play safety notes are part of these terms.

5. How you can use our printables

At home: Print free and paid printables as many times as you like for children in your own household.

In a classroom or homeschool group: Teachers, childcare providers and homeschool leaders may print copies for the children in their own class or group.

You may not: sell, share or upload the files (including to shared drives, school websites, Teachers Pay Teachers, Etsy or social media), remove our branding, or claim them as your own. Please share a link to our page instead.

6. Everything else on the site

We give you a limited, personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to view and print our content. You don't own it. Saving our images to Pinterest with the Save button, which keeps the link to our post, is welcome.

You may not:

• copy, republish or redistribute our posts or images without written permission
• use our content commercially
• scrape the site, use bots to copy content, or use it to train AI models
• frame or mirror the site on another website
• remove copyright notices
• hack, reverse engineer, overload or disrupt the site
• use the site for anything illegal

7. Be kind

When you contact us or take part in anything we run, no harassment, threats, hateful or inappropriate content, impersonation or spam. And please never send us images that show a child's face or identifying details.

8. Who owns the content

All text, images, printables, graphics, logos, design and code on Puddles & Play belong to Puddles & Play or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Apart from the uses allowed above, you need our written permission to reproduce them.

9. Things you send us

If you send us a photo of a finished craft, a tip or a story and say we can share it, you give Puddles & Play a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, edit, publish and share it on the site, in emails and on social media, with credit if you'd like it. You confirm it's yours to share and that it doesn't show a child's face or identifying information. We can edit, decline or remove anything you send.

10. Links to other sites

We link to stores, toy makers, book sellers and other sites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, products, safety or policies. Visiting them is your call and your risk.

11. How we earn money

Puddles & Play earns money from our printables, display ads and affiliate programs, including Amazon Associates. Affiliate commissions don't add anything to your price. Full details are on our disclosure page.

12. Buying printables

Paid printables are processed by a third-party payment provider, whose terms also apply. Files are delivered digitally after payment. Since you can't return a download, sales are final. But if a file is broken, missing pages or not what the listing described, email us within 14 days and we'll fix it or refund you. Prices can change before you buy.

13. Mistakes

Our posts and printables may contain technical, typographical or photographic errors. We don't promise that everything on the site is accurate, complete or current. We can change content at any time without notice, and we aren't obligated to update it.

14. No warranties

Puddles & Play and all its content are provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

15. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Puddles & Play, its owner, team and agents aren't liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages from using, or being unable to use, the site, its activities or its printables. That includes injury, illness, allergic reactions or property damage arising from an activity, even if we were warned it was possible. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Puddles & Play, its owner and team from any claims, damages, losses or costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from your use of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights.

17. Ending access

We can suspend or end your access to the site, emails or printables anytime, without notice, for any reason, including breaking these terms. If that happens, your right to use the site stops immediately.

18. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy also applies when you use Puddles & Play.

19. Changes to these terms

We can update these terms anytime without notice by posting the new version here. If you keep using the site after an update, you accept the new terms. Check back now and then.

20. Things outside our control

We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, like natural disasters, power or internet outages, hosting failures, pandemics, war, terrorism, strikes or government action.

21. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the owner of Puddles & Play is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you a right you can't give up.

22. If part of these terms doesn't hold up

If a court decides any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

23. The whole agreement

These terms, our Privacy Policy, the play safety notes and any other notices on the site are the entire agreement between you and Puddles & Play about the site. They replace any earlier agreements.
