Images & Copyright

Where our pictures come from
- AI illustrations and activity scenes. Most images are made with AI image tools from our team's prompts, then picked and edited by a person. They show hands, supplies and finished crafts, never children's faces. They're labeled as AI where relevant. See our AI policy.
- Printable previews and pin graphics, designed by our team.
- Product photos for toys, books and supplies, provided by retailers through affiliate programs (like Amazon's) or by brands, used under their terms.
- Licensed stock images, used within their license terms, once in a while.
- Reader craft photos, only with permission, with faces and names cropped out, and credited the way you'd like.
We don't grab images from Instagram, Pinterest or other blogs. If we ever feature another creator's photo, we'll ask first or use an official embed, and give credit.
No children's faces
We don't publish photos or realistic images of children's faces on Puddles & Play. Not from readers, not from stock and not from AI.
Using our images and printables
- Pinning: yes, please! Use the Save button so the pin links back to our post.

- Everything else: please ask first before you repost our images, put them on your site, or use them in anything you sell. Don't share or upload our printable files. Share the link to the post instead.

Formal DMCA notices
Puddles & Play follows the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). A formal takedown notice needs these six things:
- Your physical or electronic signature (as the copyright owner or someone authorized to act for them)
- What copyrighted work you believe was infringed, or a representative list if it's more than one
- What material on our site you believe is infringing, with enough detail to find it, like the URL
- Your mailing address, phone number and email address
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
- A statement that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you're authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right
Send it to [email protected] or mail it to Puddles & Play, mailing address available on request by email. We'll review valid notices promptly and may remove or disable access to the material.
Counter-notice
If something you provided was removed and you think that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice with:
- your physical or electronic signature
- what was removed and where it appeared before
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification
- your name, address and phone number, plus a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address
False claims and repeat infringers
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). We'll cut off access for repeat infringers when appropriate.
