Two Christmas scavenger hunts in one free download. The picture hunt is for kids ages 3 to 5 who cannot read yet: 12 cards, each with one big simple drawing (a star, a stocking, a candy cane, a wreath, a bell, a gift, a tree, a snowman, a reindeer, a gingerbread cookie, an ornament and a mitten), the word underneath for a grown-up to read, and a circle for a sticker when the real thing is found.

The clue hunt is for readers ages 5 to 8: 12 rhyming clue cards that lead from the fridge to a pillow to a shoe and on to a stocking, with a grey line on each card telling the grown-up where to hide it and a blank on the last card for the prize spot. A one-page found-it sheet puts all 12 pictures on one page for classrooms, parties and a Christmas lights walk.

Print on US Letter, cardstock if you have it. The drawings are flat shapes with thick outlines, so black-and-white printing works. Teachers may print copies for their own class.
